I would like for everyone to remember Jerry in your prayers. He was turned down, as most are, on his disability.....It's bad enough to apply, and he is in bad shape, but to be turned down is very hard....He's having a hard time with in anyway....He wants so bad to return to work, but the Dr.s 3 of them have said, that would never be possible.....His leg has set up a disease in it and he can only raise one arm.... His head has nerves that were damaged too... We need your prayers for this one to be approved or Jerry be totally healed and able to return to work. I know God is able to do it.... ***PRAISE REPORT*** I have asked many people at the church to pray for our coal situation in WV. Judge Chambers will make a decision on Sept 1, 2008 concerning our strip mining. He will decide if mining permits will be issued for strip mining in WV. Please pray for these permits to be issued. The praise report is that VA legislature has voted unanimously to build the latest and greatest coal fire plant which will also reduce CO 2 emissions. I thank God for this break through even though it's in VA. Keep praying and thank you.

I have a court hearing on Monday the 14th at 10:30 am. We (the kids and I) have been to numerous court hearings over the father breaking the protective order he hasn't had visition since Nov. so now we have another hearing coming up that has been continued once all ready. please pray for closure on this the ex is still making us miserable and I know that God has everything under control but I need prayer patrol I need help praying that this will be the end that justice will be served. I have a praise report-----My uncles girlfriend that they said would not live or if she did would be a vegetable from brain damage from the atv accident. Praise God after a month and 7 days she is walking on a walker, eating on her own and talking. They just moved her from Bristol to a rehab. My uncle is so happy my Grandma said she had not seen him this way in a very long time. Please continue my prayer that this is a life changing event for them both and they both get saved now. Please pray for a man named JD who fell down a flight of stairs several months ago. He is in his 70's and his legs are giving out from under him. He is also having pain. First I want to thank our Lord for the blessings He has bestowed upon me in my life. I have been unemployed for almost a year and am fighting for disability due to severe neck, back and foot problems. I live alone and am having to depend on other family members for payment of my utilites, one of those members has just had her home placed in foreclosure and the other is on a fixed income. But they have been there for me. Please pray that my financial situation, as well as that of my family members, improve greatly so that I may return to them, the same help that they have so unselfishly given to me; as well as being able to afford my medical treatment which consists of at least 2 round trips of 60+ miles a week and at least 2 past trips to Charlottesville's UVA, and possibly another coming up in a few weeks. I know God hears our prayers and answers them in His own way for He has answered so very many prayers for me and my family. I know He hears this one as well......Thank you all and God Bless You!!

Update on my stepdad, Gordon Brown! He is NOT dying at this time! The doctors did another test and found he, indeed, did have gangrene but it is dormant and has not spread throughout his body so although it is still very serious, it is not dangerous at this time so he won't be dying anytime soon from this. I will still be going to visit Mom there in SC since I had originally planned to visit before all this happened. Praise God I won't be attending a funeral while I am there unless God calls him home for something altogether different.
